Lewis Construction is owned and operated by Tim Lewis. With 40 years of residential building experience Tim continues to fulfill his motto, “we build for you” to every client. Tim, a Yancey County native, still lives in the beautiful mountain community. These deep community roots have extended to the surrounding areas, building and remodeling homes all while creating lasting friendships. Tims expertise spans from small remodels, additions to current homes, new construction and custom homes in WNC’s most prestigious gated communities. So, if your build needs are small, large or somewhere in between…we build for you.

Lewis Construction, a licensed and fully insured residential building contractor, located in Yancey County NC and nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Our company specializes in custom home builds, remodeling and additions including but not limited to kitchens, bath rehabs, garages, decks and outdoor spaces.

Meet The Team
Tim Lewis
Tim is owner and operator of Lewis Construction. A native of Yancey County, Tim has 40 years building experience in the mountain region. For the last four decades, Tim has hands on experience in every facet of the construction world. From working summers as a teenager for his dad and his stone masonry business, to a framing, siding, and roofing subcontractor in some of the most prestigious communities in western NC, Tim is very familiar with the processes of residential construction. Tim takes great care to provide a great experience for every client, with customer satisfaction at the heart of what he does. Tim’s goal is to be an asset to the community by building great and long-lasting relationships.
Kelly
Kelly is our office manager. She and Tim have been happily married for 20 plus years. She, likewise, is a native of Yancey county after her parents moved from east TN when she was a very young child. Kelly has experience in office management, scheduling, billing, and sales. Her outgoing personality empowers her to communicate with others, as she is always making sure everyone is included.
Isabel
Isabel is or administrative assistant. She brings a strong work ethic to the table. She is always ready to take on new tasks no matter what the scope may be. Her meek personality is adored by all she comes in contact with!
Samantha
Samantha works part-time as our Accounts Manager. She comes from Madison County and now resides in Yancey County. Samantha is experienced in business operations. She believes in a system for everything. Her amazing organizational skills offer great attention to detail in everything she does. Her outgoing personality is contagious to everyone she comes in contact with!
Jason
Jason is our Project Manager and a native of McDowell County, bringing 18 plus years of experience in construction & management. His passion for coordinating work plans, project schedules and improving processes adds value to the construction process. His vision from conception to completion of the project brings a positive impact to the process.
