Before & Afters

Every project tells a story… and at Lewis Construction, those stories are built through vision, craftsmanship, and years of experience. From simple updates to full transformations, each space begins with potential and becomes something truly meaningful for the people who call it home.

This page is a growing collection of those transformations. As new projects are completed, you’ll see firsthand how thoughtful design, quality workmanship, and a commitment to “we build for you” come together to create lasting results across Western North Carolina.

Featured Project Video of Before & Afters

Take a closer look at some of our recent work through this featured video, highlighting a variety of before and after transformations. From initial structure to finished space, it’s a glimpse into the process, care, and detail that goes into every project we take on.

Before and Afters

Here we have a client who wanted to upgrade their vinyl siding to a more modern look. Our team removed the vinyl siding, installed house-wrap and then Smart Siding. On the porch ceiling the vinyl was removed and replaced with tongue and grooved pine. Our team of painters then painted the home and new handrails were installed as well. Included are the before and after pictures. The clients were very pleased with the outcome!

We have here a client who wanted to remove the small outdated stoop to the front of their house. We then installed a 10×20′ covered porch with traditional pickets. The vaulted ceiling made room for a ceiling fan as a nice addition. Smart siding was used in the gable and ceilings and painted to match the existing house.

Here we have a very dated kitchen. The clients trusted us with their kitchen rehab project. This included creating an arched opening from the dining room into the kitchen to match the existing one on the opposite side of the dining room. This was a very fun project of transformation. We were able to reclaim and refinish the hardwood floors that were under the existing flooring. The custom hood shroud gave the detail needed to maintain this beautiful homes 19th century architecture.
